Course Overview

This course explores fundamentals of descriptive analytics and explains how to build useful, interactive visualizations using the TIBCO Spotfire.
It examines the key components of good analytics solutions and provides general guidelines for using specific visualizations. Data access, import and storage options are examined as the first step in building solutions. Next, attendees build visualizations using well known visualization types such as bar charts, line charts, pie charts and scatter plots. Hands-on labs show how to configure advanced visualization properties and design complex interactive features. Attendees learn to add data to an existing data table and add new data tables to a existing Spotfire analysis. Aggregation options are explored and tools
for capturing specific aspects of an analysis are discussed.
